Fees not paid on time will be subject to a $10 late fee.

Learn Leave No Trace principles, skills and ethics through presetations, discussions and hands on activities.  Become a better steward of the back country environment.  This is NOT a back packing course; however, you will need to be prepared to back your personal camp gear to the site.  If it doesn't fit in / on the back pack then it doesn't go.  We will be packing to the back country of Camp Miles. No electricty/facilities are available.

Cost for the class is $40 and includes your program supplies, and certifications.  You are responsible for your own food supplies; part of plan ahead and prepare.  There is a limit of 12 people in the class.  Youth Boy Scouts or Venturers MUST be 14 years old or older.

Cancellation Policy: Once registration fees have been paid, an individual may become ill or otherwise be unable to attend an event. Since the event has already incurred expenses related to the activity such as program supplies, food, patches, etc., event fees are non-refundable & non-transferrable.  An exception will be made if a request is received in writing or email (not phone) and submitted to the Southwest Florida Council Office by the individual no less than 72 hrs. before the date of the event.  In some cases, only a partial refund can be made. Refunds for inclement weather will be made only if the event is cancelled.  No refunds for credit card processing fees.
